Have they wanted to form a band but don’t know where to start? Do you want them to get the full rock/pop experience with their instrument? Are they ready to be part of a performing group? Is it time to take their talent and hard work to the next level?
Menchey Music Rocks! is your solution. Menchey Music Rocks! is an innovative new program being offered at our York, PA location. This program will bring together small groups of like-minded teenagers to form a rock band. It will be a fun, social and educational experience where students will develop real performing skills. By working with a music coach weekly they will learn how to be part of a rock band the right way. Menchey Music will Provide –
- Rehearsal Space
- Sound Equipment
- Music Coach
We have carefully chosen a music coach who will work with the group to do the following –
- Develop a concept for the band
- Create a song list
- Learn rehearsal techniques
- Develop skills for playing in a group
Who is program targeted to –
- Ages 12-17
- Minimum 1 year playing experience (does not need to be with a band)
- Guitarists, keyboardists, bassists, drummers, and vocalists
Program Specifics –
- Meet Sundays 2PM – 4PM
- Cost $125 per month ((discount for current Menchey Students)
- Off-site performances
- Classes begin early November
