Menchey Music is always on the lookout for pianos in excellent used condition.  We will handle everything for the sale of your piano – including pickup and delivery and a complete detailing of your piano. We also advertise and promote your piano for sale.

What we look for in a piano we consider consigning:

  • Name Brand (i.e. Yamaha, Steinway, Kawai, Baldwin)
  • Good condition (both inside and outside)
  • Made within the last 40 years (digitals 10 years)

What we cannot take on consignment: 

  • Any piano with less than 88 keys
  • Organs
  • Pianos that have not been kept in tuned, working condition.

Sell Your Piano

Please enter information below for any piano you are interested in consigning with us. Pictures are very helpful in helping us determine whether we can take a piano on consignment. We may also require an inspection of a piano.
  • (Polished Ebony, Mahogany, Walnut, etc)
  • Usually a 5-7 digit number located near the tuning pegs on a piano. Sometimes located on the back of an upright piano
  • Please include 5-10 pictures of the piano including different angles, the sound board and the serial number stamp. Be sure to open the piano and take pictures of the inside. the better the pictures, the easier and faster the determination of acceptance for consigning.
