We have just received this like-new Yamaha model GB1 polished mahogany 5’0” baby grand piano at our Menchey Music piano gallery location in Timonium, MD. It was purchased brand new in 2007 by its original owner, and has been well-maintained in a local non-smoking residence. The sound is magnificent and the cabinet is pristine.This is a Yamaha “Made for the USA Destination” instrument, meaning that the wooden components have been seasoned for destination for the USA climate to maintain longevity and protection throughout our seasonal changes in temperature and humidity.

The GB1, Yamaha’s most compact and affordable grand piano, is a very popular choice where space is somewhat limited but where quality and performance is a “must”. Even at 5’0″, the GB1 has a full and resonant tone comparable to many pianos substantially larger. This instrument has been thoroughly inspected and detailed by our professional technical staff. Preparation includes removal of all keys to clean the key bed, cleaning and sterilizing the key-tops, vacuuming the inside cavity and soundboard of the instrument, tuning, action regulation and cabinet polishing.
