About Sam

Sam joined Menchey Music in 2016 as a Brass Instrument Technician and is now in the role of Lead Brass Technician. As both a tuba player and percussionist he is also the Percussion Repair Specialist. His educational background includes the Band Instrument Repair Program at Minnesota State College. Before joining Menchey Music, Sam worked as a delivery route driver. Sam is a member of the National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair Technicians and enjoys attending their annual conferences whenever he gets the opportunity. When Sam is not repairing instruments he can be found playing percussion for community and school musical theater productions and his rock band, The Bad Toupees. He also enjoys golfing and outdoor activities in his free time.
