About Jared

Jared joined Menchey Music in 1993 as an experienced Woodwind Instrument Repair specialist. He began his musical journey playing saxophone and guitar in high school after which he continued his education at Allied School of Band Instrument Repair. After managing the Menchey repair department for over 20 years he has returned to his first love and is back on the bench repairing woodwind instruments full-time. Jared is a member of the National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair Technicians and enjoys attending their annual conferences whenever he gets the opportunity. Outside of work, Jared enjoys spending time with his wife, hiking with his dogs, and attending live concerts of his favorite bands.
