About Ellen

Ellen joined the Menchey Music family in 2018 as a String Repair Technician. Her journey includes a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and certification as a piano technician from the Chautauqua Institute. Ellen’s extensive experience includes serving as a piano/keyboard technician for Baltimore County Public Schools, independent piano tuner, and organist for various churches. She’s an active member of the Westminster Municipal Band where she plays the trumpet and is their music librarian and assistant director. When she’s not playing or repairing instruments, she finds joy in gardening and crafts during her leisure time!
