About Blaine

Blaine, a Band Instrument Repair Technician specializing in woodwinds, has been with Menchey Music since 2011. His journey includes extensive training and service in the U.S. Army as a saxophonist and saxophone section leader. His career in the Army gave him the opportunity to travel the world extensively and live in both Germany and Korea. Blaine is also a graduate of Red Wing Technical Institute where he studied band instrument repair. After his retirement from the service Blaine worked for several school music dealers as a Woodwind Repair Technician and Educational Sales Representative. Blaine’s hobbies include spending time with his family and granddaughters, reading, and riding his motorcycle.
