This beautiful Steinway Model M grand piano, finished in lovely brown mahogany, is now available from our Menchey Music, Timonium, MD piano gallery location. This very nice 5’7” instrument was built new in year 1938 and has been very well maintained in a local non-smoking climate-controlled residence.

At 5’7” in length, the Steinway Model M is one of Steinway’s all-time most successful models. The “M” is large enough to produce the robust Steinway sound with plenty of dynamic headroom, but small enough to fit comfortably within most homes and living rooms.

This instrument enjoyed a restoration project in year 2010 that included new Renner hammers, shanks and whippens, rebushing of key fronts and replacement of front punchings. In addition, the piano received new bass strings, pins, damper felts and the soundboard and plate were cleaned and detailed.

When received at Menchey Music, this instrument was thoroughly inspected and detailed by our professional technical staff. Preparation includes removal of the action to clean the key bed, cleaning the key-tops, vacuuming the inside cavity, tuning to A-440, action regulation and cabinet detailing.

The purchase sale price includes the matching artist/adjustable bench and one free in-home tuning. We can arrange professional delivery to your home by our professional piano movers for a very reasonable cost.
