Now available from our Menchey Music Piano Gallery location in Timonium, MD, this lovely 4’7” baby grand is from a local, one-owner, smoke-free residence. This piano produces an excellent sound for a piano of its size. The action is solid, sound is bright and clean, and the cabinet is in pristine condition.

This Sojin piano was manufactured in year 1989 by the Daewoo Company of South Korea, an auto manufacturer. In seeking a broad manufacturing base, it is common for auto manufacturers to build pianos, as the manufacturing processes are similar. While the Sojin piano company is no longer active, its instruments remain an important part of the broader narrative of piano manufacturing, especially in the context of South Korea’s contributions to the world of music and craftsmanship.
