Kawai – Model K-2 (polished ebony) – 45” Upright Piano

This very lovely and “like new” Kawai, model K-2 (45”) studio upright piano has just arrived from a local residence and is now available at our Menchey Music Piano Gallery location in Timonium, MD. This lovely piano was purchased new in year 2006 by its original owner and comes to us from a local non-smoking residence. This is a lovely polished ebony model and the cabinet is in pristine condition.

 

This Kawai K2 Ebony Polish piano is an immensely popular 45″ tall professional upright manufactured in Kawai’s Japan factory and has a nice big sound. Because of its large soundboard and long strings, it has the tone and touch similar to a grand, without taking as much space. The price is also very reasonable compared to new uprights and especially grand pianos with similar sound. You will love the sound and touch, the mute pedal for quiet play and the adjustable bench.

 

This instrument has been thoroughly inspected and detailed by our technical staff. Preparation includes removal of all keys to clean the key bed, cleaning the key-tops, vacuuming the inside cavity and back of the instrument, tuning, action regulation and cabinet detailing. The piano is in remarkable condition inside and out and will provide many years of musical enjoyment for a beginning to advanced player.
