Menchey Music Service of Timonium, MD has just received this beautiful Charles Walter, Model 1500 studio upright, a high-quality 45” tall top-tier instrument. Handmade in the Elkhart, Indiana factory, this fine quality instrument was purchased new in year 1998 by its original owner and was located in a smoke-free local home.

The Walter Piano Company is fairly unique among U.S. piano manufacturers in that it is a family business, staffed by Charles and his wife, several of their grownup children, and various in-laws, in addition to unrelated production employees. The Walters say that each piano is inspected and signed by a member of their family before being shipped. Dealers and technicians report that doing business with the Walters is a pleasure in itself.

This Charles Walter model 1500 45” studio piano is one of the top choices for music schools, conservatories of music and advanced players. It features an extended length music desk with plenty of space for your music, string length equivalent to a 5’8” grand, double caster for ease in moving, and a full-size action giving artistic control of expressive dynamics and quick key repetition.

All of our preowned pianos have been thoroughly inspected and detailed by our technical staff. Preparation includes under-key cleaning, key-top cleaning and polishing, vacuuming the inside cavity and back of the instrument, tuning, action regulation and cabinet detailing.

The purchase price includes a lovely matching bench with music storage and one free tuning after delivery in your home. We can arrange professional delivery at your convenience by our professional piano movers for a very reasonable cost.
