From songwriting to booking gigs Menchey Presents: Rock the Appell gives students the hands-on experience to grow from musicians to performers. With classes taught by professional musicians and the chance to put those lessons into practice live on stage at the Appell’s Capitol Theatre, Menchey Presents: Rock the Appell is what students need to take the next step.
You don’t need to be in a band to join! We welcome any musician with 2+ years of experience and help them form a band, pick a set list, and take the stage. Whether you are an individual, a group of friends that jam together, or a band who wants to polish and elevate your sound, Menchey Presents: Rock the Appell will give you the tools you need to succeed.

Students get hands on experience setting up amps, mics, drums like they would at a gig

Bands take turns performing for the group and receiving group coaching from professional instructors
