Menchey Cares Fundraiser
The COVID-19 pandemic has fundamentally changed what it means to ‘play your part’ as a musician. With so many musicians and artists unable to perform in concerts and gigs as the pandemic drags on, Menchey Music has decided to use our winter recitals to play our part.
We are partnering with the MusiCares foundation, and converting our 8 separate virtual recitals into one big livestreamed fundraiser. MusiCares provides a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need. MusiCares’ services and resources cover a wide range of financial, medical and personal emergencies, and each case is treated with integrity and confidentiality. MusiCares also focuses the resources and attention of the music industry on human service issues that directly influence the health and welfare of the music community.
During the pandemic MusiCares has made it their goal to provide direct relief to musicians and artists who are unable to gig and perform. Helping them with everything from the cost of guitar strings, to bills and rent.
We will be fundraising through all of December and January leading up to our live broadcast on Saturday, January 30th. To donate please visit our fundraising page linked below.
