The Piano Gallery at Menchey Music Service in Timonium, MD is expecting this beautiful Yamaha, model U3 (52″ upright) piano by the end of the month. This instrument was purchased new by its original owner in year 1993. It has been maintained and tuned regularly in a local non-smoking residence. This piano was built by Yamaha in Japan and “seasoned for destination” to come to the USA (rather than manufactured for the Japan climate). Therefore, the woods were dried when the instrument was built so that this instrument withstands the more extreme USA season and humidity fluctuations.

The Yamaha U3 upright piano is the “flagship”, top-of-the-line professional upright piano model. With a 52″ height, the U3 has soundboard size and string length that is equivalent to a full-size grand piano. This instrument has a full-bodied sound with power in the bass range and clarity in the treble section. The action is very responsive to produce every musical nuance and dynamic required. Another unique feature is that this piano is equipped with a true sostenuto middle pedal.

The price includes the matching bench with music storage and a complimentary in-home free tuning. We will be happy to set up professional delivery directly to your home for a very modest cost.
