We have just received this very nice Yamaha model GH1 polished ebony 5’3″ grand piano at our Menchey Music Piano Gallery in Timonium, MD. It is from a local one-owner non-smoking home and is in excellent condition. This particular piano was built new in year 1991 and has been exquisitely maintained. The sound is magnificent and the cabinet is in like-new condition. This is a “Made for USA Destination” instrument meaning that the components have been climatically seasoned for destination for the USA climate to maintain tuning stability and longevity with seasonal changes.

The GH1, one of Yamaha’s most compact and affordable grand pianos, is a popular choice where space is somewhat limited. Even at 5’3″ it has a full and resonant tone comparable to many pianos substantially larger. Completely built in Japan, the GH1 has come to epitomize the quality, performance and value for which Yamaha has long been renowned.
