Menchey Music Service, since its inception in 1936, has been firmly committed to music education and the value music making brings to people. Our staff is committed to making sure students and teachers are given the necessary tools to develop musically, and our stores and products are geared around this philosophy.
Menchey Music offers early childhood introductory sessions for prospective students and also offers private instruction through the Looking4lessons™ network of teachers. Students, through the L4L program may research teachers in their area and actually schedule lessons online with the teacher of their choice.
Students in the Menchey Music Service private teaching program pay a one time registration fee that entitles them to several key benefits, including a 10% discount off music and accessories while enrolled in the program, a T shirt, and priority repair service.

Menchey Music also presents various early childhood development exploratory programs to children considering making music a part of their life.
Menchey Music Service is please to open its doors to area children’s groups to offer them a hands-on introduction to the joys of making music. It’s part of a national outreach program based on the Sesame Street Music Works launched in conjunction with Sesame Street’s curriculum focus on music and art. The Sesame Street Music Works program is a fun and entertaining musical instruments "show & tell" for 3 to 6 year olds. The program is being presented as a community service and there is no fee for children’s groups.
