Good morning,
As you are probably aware, Menchey Music Service announced in April 2008 that we were closing our Choral Print Music Showroom in Hanover PA and liquidating all in-stock Choral, Handbell, Opera Scores/Large Works and School Musical titles. The liquidation went well, but many titles remain in our inventory.
In an effort to finish the liquidation of this inventory by May 31, 2010, we are going to implement the following liquidation schedule:
All sales will be final, and qualified schools, with permission, may take advantage of July 1, 2010 billing if necessary. A complete listing of the available titles in an Excel Spreadsheet can be downloaded from the links above.
As stated earlier, Menchey Music is a strong, focused, healthy 74 year old school music dealer committed to the long term, and taking this step will help ensure that we will be able to continue to offer outstanding customer service in band/orchestra, pianos, instrumental print, organs, and our other core areas of our business. In an effort to finish the liquidation of this inventory by May 31, 2010, we are going to implement the following liquidation schedule:
- Now until May 1, 2010:
- All remaining in stock Octavos, Choral Collections, and Cantatas will carry a discount of 75% from Retail Price;
- In addition, many of our Classical & Sacred Piano, Vocal, and Organ Collections will carry a discount of 75% from retail price.
All You Can Carry - $199!
- Between April 5 and April 17, 2010 you may take advantage of a possibly even BETTER deal on this liquidation inventory–
All you can carry for $199! (plus tax, if applicable)
• Limit one $199 special package price per “carrying person”• Unlimited trips per “carrying person” (while supplies last)• Special limited to Octavos, Choral Collections and Cantatas in Hanover Store
Example - We took a sample and determined that a 25 inch sample was worth $1,250 -$199 represents a 86% discount from retail !
- On May 3, 2010 we will begin DONATING the remaining in stock Octavos, Choral Collections, and Cantatas to any interested school and church partners to use as they wish (i.e. reading libraries, etc). NOTE: This donated music is available for walk-in customers only at our Hanover PA location - we will not accept phone/email orders and will not ship any donated music to recipients.
- After May 31, 2010 we will donate the balance of this inventory to a small handful of non profits out of the region to make room for our incoming new Church Organ Gallery.
